The UKBCCI Board Meeting was held on 1st November 2018 at the UKBCCI office. There was a comprehensive agenda with many things discussed. A well attended and positive meeting took place regarding the future events of UKBCCI. Watch this space for developments in 2019.

UKBCCI Meets with BEZA Delegation
The UKBCCI hosted a meeting at its offices with a delegation from the Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) on 11th May, where the UKBCCI President Bajloor Rashid MBE met with BEZA’s Executive Chairman Paban Chowdhury.
Discussions focussed on BEZA’s endeavours to establish Economic Zones in potential areas of Bangladesh with a view to encouraging rapid economic development through diversification of industries and augmentation of employment, production and export.
“This is a great opportunity for our members in the UKBCCI to invest in these economic zones in Bangladesh,” said President Rashid. “These zones offer a fantastic chance to invest over there and to reap the rewards of that investment in the best way possible. There are great incentive packages along with a one stop service not to mention all the logistics and amenities being available. I would urge everyone who wants to look for good investment opportunities in Bangladesh that they seriously consider what BEZA have to offer.”
Latest UKBCCI News – Bangladesh Region and date for next Business Awards in 2017
At the UKBCCI Board meeting on April 18th, there was a great deal of excitement as the Directors unanimously agreed to start the process of setting up a Bangladesh region. Further details of its progression will be made available in the coming months. A date was also set for the next Business & Entrepreneur Excellence Awards which will take place on October 15th 2017 at the London Hilton – Park Lane.
UKBCCI AGM 19th September
The UKBCCI held their AGM on Monday 19th September. Plenty of dedicated input into the meeting from members. There was a full agenda covering successes to date and future plans that Directors relayed to the assembled audience.
