UKBCCI Chairman Mr Iqbal Ahmed OBE and President Mr M G Moula Miah met with the Executive Chairman of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), Mr Lokman Hossain Miah in Dhaka this morning to secure and ensure expatriate investment in Bangladesh. Many of the British Bangladeshi businessmen in the UK have invested in Bangladesh so far and are interested in investing in the garment, food, electricity and telecommunication sectors in the future as well, they said. UKBCCI Chairman & President highlighted their various plans. They also praised Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s steps to encourage expatriate investors.
BIDA Chairman requested expatriate investors to invest in the country with 100% in confidence.
