Anawar Babul Miah, Director of Legal Affairs for UKBCCI, has been selected as the Labour Party candidate for the Welwyn Hatfield constituency at the forthcoming General Election in June.
Miah, who stood for the same seat in the last Election, sees the June Election as a closely run fight between the main parties but is confident he will go far.
“I’m delighted and honoured to have been selected to represent the Labour Party,” he said. “It’s a huge privilege and a great honour to be representing the people of Welwyn Hatfield. I hope I can champion their cause and the things they want to see done right in their constituency. I will do my best not to let them down.
